Why Buy a Matched Package
The enclosure determines as much of your output as the driver does. A great subwoofer in the wrong airspace underperforms a modest one in the right box, and getting it wrong is the most common mistake in a first build. A matched bundle removes that risk entirely — the manufacturer's recommended volume and port tuning are already built in.
Ported or Sealed?
- Ported bundles — louder and deeper per watt; the standard choice for bass-forward builds
- Sealed bundles — more compact and tighter sounding, better where trunk space is limited

What Else You Need
