Shop 3.5 inch speakers at JS Ultimate Sounds — compact coaxials and pro-audio midrange drivers for dash, A-pillar, rear deck and small door locations where a 6.5 simply won't fit.
Where 3.5-Inch Speakers Go
Factory 3.5" locations are common in dashes, pillars and rear shelves. They're also the go-to size for adding midrange to a pod build or filling out a front stage where space is tight. In pro-audio setups, 3.5" drivers are often used purely for upper midrange, crossed high and paired with larger midbass.
Coaxial vs Pro Audio
- Coaxial 3.5s — a woofer and tweeter in one compact frame, ideal as a direct factory replacement
- Pro-audio 3.5 midrange — high-sensitivity drivers built to play loud alongside serious bass, crossed above roughly 300Hz
Getting the Most From Them
Small drivers cannot produce bass, and asking them to try is how they fail. Always high-pass 3.5" speakers — typically 150–300Hz depending on the driver — using the crossover on your 4-channel amplifier. Our tuning guide covers the settings.
Need more output from the front? Step up to 6.5 inch speakers or mount larger drivers using vehicle-specific speaker pods. For the loud lane, browse pro audio.
