The M12 is the entry point into Sundown's Mega series, handling 2,000 watts RMS and 4,000 watts peak in Dual 1 or Dual 2 Ohm configurations. It mates a patented Mega series frame to a quad-stacked 200mm (7.87") motor structure with an 88mm magnet stack height, a hyper-extended pole, and a full 20mm thick top-plate. A 3" 4-layer round wire aluminum voice coil wound on a thick aluminum former drives a full 35mm one-way linear excursion. Sundown's high-stroke cooling system uses a high-velocity pole vent, a heavily vented magnetic gap, and a cast-aluminum frame-base venting system, while the Mega-Roll surround and PG linear suspension keep distortion low. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Made to order (2-3 week lead time) and shipping from JS Ultimate Sounds, your Basshead Supply dealer.
