Shop marine speakers at JS Ultimate Sounds — weather-resistant coaxials and pod speakers built to survive sun, salt spray and rain on boats, jet skis, UTVs and open-air Jeeps.

What Makes a Speaker Marine-Rated

Marine speakers use UV-stabilised cones and grilles, rubber or treated surrounds that won't break down in sunlight, sealed or coated baskets, and corrosion-resistant hardware. A standard car speaker mounted in an open-air or wet environment will fail within a season — marine construction is what prevents that.

Coaxials, Pods and Tower Speakers

  • Marine coaxials — drop into existing boat or panel cutouts for full-range sound
  • Speaker pods — surface-mount enclosures for roll bars, jet skis and UTVs where there is no cutout
  • Tower speakers — high-output horns and cans aimed at riders or open cockpits; see marine tower speakers

RGB LED models are popular on boats and powersports rigs — the lighting is built into the speaker and controlled alongside the rest of your system.

Powering Marine Speakers

Open-air environments need more power than a car cabin because there are no surfaces to reflect sound back at you. Run marine speakers off a dedicated marine amplifier, high-pass them around 80–100Hz (see our amp tuning guide), and add a marine subwoofer enclosure for low end.
