The Nightshade NS6 is a neodymium subwoofer engineered to deliver incredibly powerful low end with extremely linear excursion and next-level thermal management. Its eight-layer voice coil provides excellent power handling, while an extended shorting ring minimizes distortion for smooth, highly accurate sound at extreme SPL levels. A custom-tooled basket, ultra-linear spider packs, and the Mega Roll V2 surround keep the cone under control, and a unique air-exchanging system forces hot air out and cool air in. Rated at 3500W RMS (7000W peak) with dual 1 or 2 ohm coils, and available with an optional carbon cone/dustcap. This enclosure is custom built specifically for the Sundown Audio NSV6 MDF 12" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Made to order (2-3 week lead time) and shipping from JS Ultimate Sounds, your Basshead Supply dealer.
