Who Runs an 18?
Eighteens are competition and wall territory. They move enormous air, dig deeper than any smaller driver, and are typically chosen when output below 30Hz matters more than practicality. Expect to dedicate real cargo space and real electrical capacity.
What It Takes
Plan the whole system, not just the sub: a high-power monoblock amplifier matched to the RMS rating at your wired impedance, 1/0 gauge wiring, and serious electrical — a battery bank plus charging capacity to match. Wiring and ohm loads are covered in our install guide.
