The Nightshade Neodymium subwoofer is engineered for powerful low end, extremely linear excursion, and next-level thermal management. It features an eight-layer voice coil for excellent power handling and an extended shorting ring to minimize distortion for smooth, accurate sound at extreme SPL levels. A cast aluminum cooling ring, aluminum vent ring, and a unique air exchange system force hot air out and cool air in. The custom-tooled basket, ultra-linear spider packs, and Ultra-linear Mega Roll V2 surround keep cone motion controlled, with an optional carbon cone/dustcap available. This enclosure is custom built specifically for the Sundown Audio NSV6 MDF 18" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Made to order (2-3 week lead time) and shipping from JS Ultimate Sounds, your Basshead Supply dealer.
