Many in-stock orders ship within 1-2 business days, but timing varies by item. Custom, built-to-order, oversized, special-order, and supplier-direct products may need extra processing time. The XS Power US1100-31 is a 1,100-farad 15V SuperBank ultracapacitor — not a battery, and that distinction is the point. A battery stores energy chemically and releases it steadily; an ultracapacitor stores it electrostatically and can release it almost instantaneously, which is exactly what a large amplifier demands on a hard bass note.
Instant Current Delivery, No Voltage Sag
Running as a power buffer alongside your existing battery, the US1100-31 absorbs the current spikes that cause headlight dimming and soft, muddy bass. With 700 cold cranking amps and a -40F to 150F operating range, it holds system voltage steady when your amplifiers pull hardest. For SPL builds that outrun the alternator’s ability to respond, a farad capacitor bank is the component that keeps rail voltage where it belongs.
