How this package ships
- Two separate deliveries. Your subwoofer ships from JS Ultimate Sounds and usually arrives first.
- Separate tracking numbers. You will get one for each delivery, so a tracking link showing only part of your order is normal.
- The enclosure is built to order by Basshead Supply and ships direct from them in about 2 to 3 weeks.
- The subwoofer is not pre-installed. You mount it in the enclosure once both have arrived.
- The enclosure arrives finished in a gray stain, ready to install.

The Z v.6 is the second step in Sundown's ultra-high-excursion lineup and replaces the Z v.5 series. A patented custom-tooled frame mates to a quad-stacked 240mm (9.45") motor with a 100mm (3.94") magnet stack, a hyper-extended pole, and clearances allowing over 4" peak-to-peak travel before mechanical bottom. The 3" 8-layer flat-wire aluminum voice coil — shared with the NS v.5 series — drives extreme excursion, cooled by a high-velocity pole vent, a heavily vented magnetic gap, and machined channels around the pole piece. Built for the lowest bass extension possible in a small ported box while keeping distortion extremely low; rated 3250 watts RMS / 6500 watts peak with 35mm one-way Xmax.

This enclosure is custom built specifically for the Sundown Audio ZV6 10" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Custom built to order by Basshead Supply and shipped directly from them, about 2 to 3 weeks.
