Its aluminum 1.75" voice coil former and high-temperature copper voice coil work together for superior heat dissipation, while a heavy-duty cast basket and double-stitched surround keep it composed under load. The solid pole carries vent channels and an aluminum shorting ring cap, and rear gap-venting plus top-plate cooling channels help manage heat.
