The SLD is Sundown's high-power slim subwoofer, achieving high volume in a shallow chassis through several important upgrades: pole-piece channels for reduced air noise and improved cooling, top-plate slits for better cooling and less distortion, and a magnet shorting ring. A 2.5" black aluminum voice coil with high-temperature 4-layer copper wire handles the heat, while the dual-magnet design smooths acoustic response. Sundown secured the spider, motor, and aluminum pole cap with bolts and added mini-XL lead wires for years of reliable service. Rated at 600W RMS (1200W peak) with dual 2 or 4 ohm coils.
