The SALT-8 is a strappable competition monoblock rated at 8,000 watts at 1 ohm on its own, or 16,000 watts at 2 ohms when linked to a second SALT-8. It carries a frequency response of 10Hz–250Hz with a 24dB variable subsonic filter, a 24dB variable low-pass filter, a 45Hz bass boost adjustable 0–9dB, and 0–180 degree phase shift control. Onboard power, clipping, and protection indicators pair with thermal, voltage, speaker-short, and DC-offset protection circuitry, and the included wired remote displays voltage, temperature, and clipping.
