The SALT-3 is a strappable digital Class-D mono block that delivers 750 watts at 4 ohms, 1,500 watts at 2 ohms, or 3,000 watts at 1 ohm on its own, and a massive 6,000 watts at 2 ohms when linked to a second SALT-3, across a 10Hz–250Hz response. SALT — Sundown Audio Low-Voltage Technology — produces optimum power at realistic voltages in the 12s rather than needing 14+ volts. A 24dB variable subsonic filter (10Hz–50Hz), 24dB variable low-pass filter (35Hz–250Hz), variable bass boost at 45Hz (0–9dB), and 0–180 degree phase shift control dial in the bass, while onboard power, clipping, and protection indicators and full protection circuitry keep it safe.
