The SALT-1700.5 is a 5-channel full-range digital Class-D amplifier that drives four full-range channels at 125 watts x 4 (4 ohms) or 220 watts x 4 (2 ohms) plus a dedicated sub channel rated 480 watts (4 ohms), 800 watts (2 ohms), or 1,300 watts (1 ohm). It is 2-ohm stereo stable and 4-ohm bridged stable. SALT — Sundown Audio Low-Voltage Technology — produces optimum power at realistic voltages in the 12s rather than needing 14+ volts. A variable subsonic filter (10Hz–100Hz), variable high and low-pass filters (50Hz–500Hz), and X1/X10 crossover multiplier shape the output, with onboard power, clipping, and protection indicators and full protection circuitry.
