How this package ships
- Two separate deliveries. Your subwoofers ship from JS Ultimate Sounds and usually arrive first.
- Separate tracking numbers. You will get one for each delivery, so a tracking link showing only part of your order is normal.
- The enclosure is built to order by Basshead Supply and ships direct from them in about 2 to 3 weeks.
- The subwoofers are not pre-installed. You mount them in the enclosure once both have arrived.
- The enclosure arrives finished in a gray stain, ready to install.

The SA 8-inch is the pinnacle of low-distortion ported-box subwoofer technology, completely custom tooled with a full 16mm of one-way linear excursion and mechanical capacity exceeding double the linear limits for durability and low distortion. A large aluminum faraday ring smooths acoustic response while the low-distortion motor handles 600W RMS (1200W peak) across dual 2 or 4 ohm coils. The v.3 update adds a new surround with linear geometry and improved thermal performance via 16 chamfered gap vents that keep high-velocity air flowing over the voice coil.

This enclosure is custom built specifically for the Sundown Audio SAV3 8" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Custom built to order by Basshead Supply and shipped directly from them, about 2 to 3 weeks.
