How this package ships
- Two separate deliveries. Your subwoofers ship from JS Ultimate Sounds and usually arrive first.
- Separate tracking numbers. You will get one for each delivery, so a tracking link showing only part of your order is normal.
- The enclosure is built to order by Basshead Supply and ships direct from them in about 2 to 3 weeks.
- The subwoofers are not pre-installed. You mount them in the enclosure once both have arrived.
- The enclosure arrives finished in a gray stain, ready to install.

The SA v.2 15" is a top-down upgrade of the original SA series, handling 1250 watts RMS / 2500 watts peak. Its 2.75" aluminum-former coil punches above its weight, outperforming many 3" coils without the added mass while allowing a wider spider. A large magnet shorting (Faraday) ring reduces distortion for smoother response across the spectrum, and a vented magnetic gap and pole piece keep the coil cool. The motor and coil mate to a robust multi-layer spider with doubled-up XL tinsel leads, a competition-grade paper cone, strong foam surround, and cast-aluminum frame. It delivers ~19mm of one-way linear excursion with a 37mm x-mech limit before coil bottom.

This enclosure is custom built specifically for the Sundown Audio SAV2 15" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Custom built to order by Basshead Supply and shipped directly from them, about 2 to 3 weeks.
