How this package ships
- Two separate deliveries. Your subwoofers ship from JS Ultimate Sounds and usually arrive first.
- Separate tracking numbers. You will get one for each delivery, so a tracking link showing only part of your order is normal.
- The enclosure is built to order by Basshead Supply and ships direct from them in about 2 to 3 weeks.
- The subwoofers are not pre-installed. You mount them in the enclosure once both have arrived.
- The enclosure arrives finished in a gray stain, ready to install.

The SA v.2 is a top-down upgrade from the original SA series, built around a 2.75" aluminum-former coil that punches above its weight and outperforms many 3" coils without the added mass. Sundown balanced the moving mass, motor force, and suspension stiffness for the intended power level, and added a large magnet shorting (faraday) ring to reduce distortion and smooth response across the acoustic spectrum. The coil mates to a robust multi-layer spider with fully tied-on, doubled-up XL tinsel leads, while a competition-grade paper cone, foam surround, and cast aluminum frame complete the build. With ~19mm of one-way linear excursion and a 37mm x-mech limit before coil bottom, it is nearly bottomless at 1250W RMS (2500W peak).

This enclosure is custom built specifically for the Sundown Audio SAV2 10" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Custom built to order by Basshead Supply and shipped directly from them, about 2 to 3 weeks.
