The SA v.2 15" is a top-down upgrade of the original SA series, handling 1250 watts RMS / 2500 watts peak. Its 2.75" aluminum-former coil punches above its weight, outperforming many 3" coils without the added mass while allowing a wider spider. A large magnet shorting (Faraday) ring reduces distortion for smoother response across the spectrum, and a vented magnetic gap and pole piece keep the coil cool. The motor and coil mate to a robust multi-layer spider with doubled-up XL tinsel leads, a competition-grade paper cone, strong foam surround, and cast-aluminum frame.
