The SA-3M is the dedicated midrange of Sundown's 2025 SA SQ speaker series, designed to attack the three main drivers of distortion. It delivers 4.5mm of one-way linear excursion by 70% BL with an 8mm x-mech limit so it won't bottom out on powerful dynamics, and a beefy ferrite-plus-neodymium-pole-cap motor reaches 84.5 dB sensitivity at one watt. Double LE treatment via a copper pole sleeve and aluminum magnet ID shorting ring lets it play full range beyond 20kHz, while the 28mm extra-long voice coil supports 150W of power handling when high-pass crossed at 300Hz.
