The Nightshade Neodymium subwoofer is engineered for powerful low end, extremely linear excursion, and next-level thermal management. It features an eight-layer voice coil for excellent power handling and an extended shorting ring to minimize distortion for smooth, accurate sound at extreme SPL levels. Thermal control is optimized with a cast aluminum cooling ring, outer fin array, and aluminum vent ring that actively pull heat away from the voice coil gap, while a unique air exchange system provides active cooling during extended use. This enclosure is custom built specifically for the Sundown Audio NSV6 MDF 10" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Made to order (2-3 week lead time) and shipping from JS Ultimate Sounds, your Basshead Supply dealer.
