The Nightshade Neodymium subwoofer is engineered for powerful low end, extremely linear excursion, and next-level thermal management. It features an eight-layer voice coil for excellent power handling and an extended shorting ring to minimize distortion for smooth, accurate sound at extreme SPL levels. A cast aluminum cooling ring, aluminum vent ring, and a unique air exchange system force hot air out and cool air in. The custom-tooled basket, ultra-linear spider packs, and Ultra-linear Mega Roll V2 surround keep cone motion controlled, with an optional carbon cone/dustcap available.
