A double-stacked magnet with a vented coil gap and pole keeps the high-temperature 4-layer copper voice coil cool, while a class-leading 14mm Xmax and extremely low resonant frequency deliver deep bass on a budget. An extra-thick stamped steel frame, high-quality push terminals, and stitched-on flat tinsel leads round out the v.2 update, which added a custom-tooled frame, push terminals, a rubber mounting gasket, and upgraded tinsel leads.
