The E-Series v.6 8" is the product of relentless research at Sundown's North Carolina headquarters, pairing a 2" voice coil with a unique motor design to pull the deepest possible bass from an 8" cone. Its motor features a heavily vented magnetic gap and solid pole piece for exceptional thermal power handling, while the high-strength poly-cotton spider is bolted down and glued to the frame for added ruggedness. The motor geometry yields a remarkable 14mm one-way linear Xmax, delivering excursion equivalent to far larger cones.
