The E-Series v.4 15" handles 750 watts RMS and 1,500 watts peak on dual 2-ohm or dual 4-ohm voice coils wound with high-temp 4-layer copper wire. A double-stacked magnet with a heavily vented magnetic gap and solid pole piece delivers exceptional thermal power handling, while a high-strength stamped steel frame and a poly-cotton spider bolted and glued to the frame add ruggedness. Sundown optimized a 2.5" voice coil and a unique motor design to pull the deepest possible bass response out of a 15" cone, with motor geometry that allows a remarkable 14mm one-way linear Xmax.
