The XS Power SB75-5 12V SuperBank is the entry point into the SuperBank ultracapacitor ecosystem, bringing 75 farads of genuine ultracapacitor performance to builds that are just beginning to explore capacitor-based power augmentation. Unlike older cylindrical stiffening caps that offered fractional farad ratings and poor ESR, the SB75-5 delivers a meaningful farad capacitor bank contribution that produces audible improvements in bass tightness and headlight stability. It is a real upgrade, not a novelty accessory.
Without a fixed group footprint, the XS Power SB75-5 is positioned for custom-mounted applications, supplemental secondary locations, or builds where the primary battery is fine but a dedicated car audio capacitor buffer near the amplifier would sharpen performance. As a high current capacitor unit at an accessible price point, it also makes a logical starting point for someone building toward a larger SuperBank installation, proving out the technology before committing to a full Group-sized bank.
