The Down4Sound D4S LTO 6.0 is the brand's first lithium battery — a compact 12V Lithium Titanate (LTO) unit pairing a small footprint with high output. It runs directly inline with stock charging voltages (no voltage boosting needed) and can be paired with conventional 12V batteries. Output scales with your alternator: roughly 3,000W on a 120–160A alternator, 4,000W on 240–270A, and 5,000W on 320–370A. It uses 40C-capable LTO cells (rated 20C for daily use) with built-in balancing and M6 terminals. Maximum charge voltage is 14.8V — do not exceed it, and do not mount the battery under the hood.
