The DC Audio XL Elite (M5) is an evolution of DC's #1-selling XL subwoofer line, rated 2,200 watts RMS. A redesigned motor with a pole vent and larger magnets is FEA-optimized and mated to the heavy-duty DC frame, driving a 3" 8-layer flat-wound aluminum coil on quad 10" spiders for serious control. A rigid non-pressed paper cone, aluminum shorting ring and 8 AWG OFC direct leads round out a sub that's as famous for its looks as its output — hand-built in the USA.

This enclosure is custom built specifically for the DC Audio XL Elite 12" subwoofer. Basshead Supply's Performance Series enclosures are subwoofer-specific boxes engineered for strong, clean output, built with a refined assembly process that leaves no visible screw holes. Every box is glued with Titebond III and internally braced, then pre-wired with a recessed satin-nickel binding post and OFC 10-gauge wire - built by hand in the USA. Made to order (2-3 week lead time) and shipping from JS Ultimate Sounds, your Basshead Supply dealer.
